ImageFIRST strives to provide healthcare facilities with the best linen and laundry in Bethlehem, PA and throughout the country. We are also dedicated to making a difference in local communities with regular giving events.

All ImageFIRST locations participated in the Backpack Donation Drive. Our associates collected backpacks and different school supplies during July for children in need throughout the entire United States. Each one of our locations chose a local charity.

The drive, which concluded on July 29th, yielded 1,060 backpacks filled with school supplies, eclipsing the total of last year’s donation. We donated to groups throughout the country such as:

  • Hands Across America
  • All Stars Los Angeles
  • Community Development Associate and Cover Girls Leadership
  • NY/NJ Board of Education Paterson
  • Fairview Elementary
  • Oakcliff Elementary
  • The Boys and Girls Club - Philadelphia
  • DuPage Pads
  • Wood Middle School
  • Christa McAuliffe Elementary School
  • Hillwood Middle School

At ImageFIRST Lancaster, we delivered our donations on August 15th to the Columbia Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), located in Columbia, PA, less than 15 miles from Lancaster.

The SFSP is a program under the United States Department of Agriculture to ensure that low-income kids receive proper nutrition and meals once school ends. The program is greatly needed as 23 million children qualify for it. Their goal this past summer was to serve more than 200 million free meals. The Columbia chapter is run by Hands Across the Street, a program of Columbia Presbyterian Church.

We wanted to provide these children with school supplies and backpacks, so they are well-equipped and excited about going back to school.

To build a great company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, our community, our customers and their patients is a goal we keep at the heart of our purpose.
